Truck theft in Howick caught on camera, suspects sought

Police are sharing security footage of a truck theft in Howick, in hopes that public tips will help bring the perpetrators to justice.

Huron County OPP shared a video from a Gorrie parking lot on the morning of January 2, around 5:30 a.m.

In it, the suspect is dropped off in a burgundy truck. They proceed to enter the stolen vehicle, a dark-coloured Dodge Ram pickup, through the rear window.

Police said it took them less than a minute to enter and start the truck.
