Hanover Hospital Auxiliary helps buy new equipment

The Hanover and District Hospital has received a $19,600 donation from the HDH Auxiliary, which will help improve patient care.

The money funded two obstetric beds, a buddy probe, and two sit and tilt wheelchairs.

The donation is the result of the auxiliary's 2023-2024 fundraising efforts.

"This thoughtful contribution from the HDH Auxiliary demonstrates their unwavering commitment to enhancing patient care at our hospital. Their continued generosity enables us to acquire essential medical equipment that improves diagnostic capabilities, patient comfort, and treatment outcomes across multiple departments," stated a media release from the hospital. "The Auxiliary's dedication to fundraising throughout the year makes a meaningful difference in the quality of healthcare we provide to our community, supporting both patients and medical staff with resources that might otherwise be beyond our reach."
