Pool passes are now available to borrow at Bruce County Public Library. The new partnership with the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie offers free seasonal passes to local swimming pools in Tara and Chesley.
This initiative’s goal is to promote equal access to community recreation and encourage healthy lifestyles. There are ten passes for the Tara and Chesley pools, which can be checked out for one week on an adult card, and can be renewed once if there are no holds
Mayor Steve Hammell expressed his support for the initiative.
"It’s important to us that families across Arran-Elderslie have opportunities to cool off and enjoy quality time together," he said. "Offering easy-to-access passes through the library helps ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the Chesley and Tara pools this summer."
Each pass has a QR code printed on the case linking to the municipality website, where patrons
Pool passes are available now at the Paisley Branch and can be reserved through the Library's online catalogue.
