Grey Bruce Bus Operators to host First Rider Program for students

The Association of Grey-Bruce Bus Operators is offering a chance for students, especially new bus riders, to come and check out the school bus they will ride.

The free program is available for students and their families as a way to familiarize students, especially those who will be riding the bus for the first time, with how the system works.

School bus safety will be taught and kids will be able to explore a real bus, and have the chance to ask any questions before the school year begins.

Sessions will be held starting on August 20 in Flesherton, followed by sessions in Kincardine, Port Elgin, Owen Sound and Hanover through the end of August.

Prior to attending, you can watch the short Buzzy Bee Bus Safety Video to see what’s expected when riding the bus and how to stay safe. There is no registration needed to attend.
