OPP detachments around the province will be participating in a traffic safety campaign during the Labour Day long weekend.
This campaign will run from August 29 through September 1.
Enforcement efforts will focus on the "Big Four" which include: distracted driving, alcohol and drug impaired driving, speeding and aggressive driving, and lack of seatbelts being worn.
On top of monitoring traffic on the roadways, officers will also be out in force to ensure people are being safe on the water, as well.
"With an expected increase traffic flow, please be patient, drive sober, and drive safely to and from your destinations. Respect others on the roadway, including cyclists, farm machinery operators and pedestrians," the OPP stated in a media release.
