Minto to hold free community event on accessibility

The Town of Minto will hold a free community event on accessibility next month.

A media release from the Town of Minto says the event is being put on by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

The special Community Accessibility Presentation will feature a presentation from accessibility advocate and consultant Julie Sawchuk of Sawchuk Accessible Solutions.

It will be on Tuesday, October 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the Palmerston Community Centre and is sponsored by the County of Wellington. Pre-registration is required.

"Accessibility is about inclusion," said Sawchuk. "By making our communities safer and more welcoming, we strengthen connections and ensure everyone can participate fully in community life."

You can pre-register for the event at www.town.minto.on.ca.
