Youth injured, dog killed in Central Huron collision

Huron County OPP says one youth was seriously injured and a dog was killed in a single-vehicle collision along Bandon Line Tuesday night.

The crash took place around 5 p.m. near Londesborough between Hullet McKillop Road and Blyth Road.

According to OPP, a 16-year-old was traveling south on a dirt bike and collided with a dog that ran onto the roadway.

Police said the youth was taken to London hospital with serious injuries and the dog died as a result of the impact.

The road has since reopened following investigation. No charges have been laid at this time.
