Damage to church in Goderich being investigated by police

A recent case of mischief at a church in Goderich is being investigated by police.

According to the Huron County OPP, on October 27, police were contacted regarding damage to a church property on Victoria Street North in Goderich.

Officers arrived on-scene and arrested a person that police believe is responsible for the damage.

As a result, a 46-year-old individual of no fixed address has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and fail to comply with probation.

The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on November 24 to answer to the charges.
