Bruce Telecom donates $50K to new Saugeen Shores aquatic centre

Bruce Telecom has donated $50,000 to the new Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre in Port Elgin.

A media release from Saugeen Shores shared the news on January 15. This donation will be recognized through the sponsorship of the lifeguard station in the new facility. 

The new aquatic centre is preparing for a grand opening celebration on January 24.

The Pryde Aquatic and Wellness Centre is "designed to be a regional hub for recreation and wellness, offering an 8-lane competition pool, leisure pool, fitness centre, walking track, gymnasium, and multi-purpose program rooms to serve people of all ages and abilities," according to the release from Saugeen Shores.

Staff also note that opportunities for support and sponsorship are still available for businesses looking to get involved.
