A serious multi-vehicle crash that has sent multiple people to hospital has closed a roadway just north of Seaforth.
The OPP shared on "X", formerly Twitter, just before 1:30 p.m. on Thursday that North Line and Roxboro Line is closed between Winthrop Road and Bridge Road, just north of Seaforth, due to a crash involving multiple passenger vehicles.
Police also shared that multiple people have been sent to hospital as a result of the crash. The extent of the injuries suffered is unknown at this time.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area. More updates will be provided by police.
