Three men are facing numerous criminal charges, including drug trafficking, after a traffic stop in the Municipality of Chatsworth on Tuesday.
An investigation led by South Bruce OPP's Community Street Crime Unit resulted in a traffic stop along Hwy 10. According to police, officers seized a "significant amount of suspected fentanyl, suspected cocaine, bulk currency, and four firearms," as part of the search.
OPP estimate the value of the drugs seized is over $500,000.
A 32-year-old man from Durham, a 33-years-man from Christian Island First Nation and a 30-year-old from Owen Sound are all facing a litany of charges as a result, including: two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime (over $5,000), and unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm.
The three accused were arrested and held for bail hearings.
