Corey Conners Signs With Ping

Corey Conners has officially turned pro after his appearance at the RBC Heritage this past weekend.

The Listowel native missed the cut after posting a +5 over his two rounds in Carolina. He ended off with a one-under par round of 70 on Friday.

Conners made the choice to turn pro after finishing his play at the Masters, which he needed to stay as an amateur to participate in. With the jump and the hope to be a PGA Tour golfer every week, Conners will make that bid while carrying his first endorsement deal.

Ahead of his pro debut Thursday, Ping announced on twitter that the former Amateur will be wearing and playing with their gear on the course:
