Huether Heats Up In OHL Eastern Final

Londesborough's Ray Huether has been clutch for the North Bay Battalion in their playoff series with the Oshawa Generals. Last night his side took a 2-1 series lead with a 2-1 victory at home.

Huether scored the tying goal with a well placed wrist shot from his off wing to even things at 1-1. The right handed shot has scored two of his four playoff goals in this series.

This wasn't the first time in these playoffs that the over-ager came through when his team needed him. Huether had the game winning goal to break a 1-1 scoreline wide open in game 1. The Battalion would take that game 6-1.

One of the hopes in this series was that Huether would get to face younger brother Kenny, a rookie on the Generals. Unfortunately he has been a healthy scratch so far in the series.

The Battalion host the Generals in game 4 tonight at 7.
