Local Player Part of Winning College Team

A former Saugeen Shores Minor Baseball player, was part of the sub-regional winning baseball team in Williamsville, New York.

Tyler Middleton is a bullpen pitcher for the Erie Community College Kats who downed Mohawk Valley Community College 12-2 and 7-5 over the weekend to clinch the sub-regional baseball title.

Middleton and the Kats now move on to the Region Three Final Four. That tournament will be played May 15th to 17th at  Veterans Memorial Park in Little Falls, New York.

The winner of that series advances to the NJCAA Division Three National Championship May 23rd to 28th in Kingston, North Carolina.
