A week after a malfunction in Quebec ended his race early Milverton's Scott Steckly had a top 10 finish in Innisfil.
Taking part in the Leland Industries 300 at Sunset Speedway, Steckly would finish 4th in the field of 20 cars at the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series event.
He qualified in second spot and took the lead out of the gate, staying in first the next 60 laps. After a bit of back an forth he was overtaken by Cayden Lapcevich before eventual winner Alex Tagliani took the lead for the rest of the race.
Now three races into the season Steckly sits 3rd in overall points among drivers. His next race takes him back to Quebec for the
