A big boost has just been given to the Hanover Barons back end with the announcement that defenseman Tanner Mighton has signed with the team.
The Durham native has spent the last 3 seasons with the Listowel Cyclones of the GOJHL. He had 44 points in 92 games from the blueline.
It will not be Mighton's first year in the league, he spent his first year of junior with the Walkerton Hawks.
This signing will bolster a Barons blueline that is expected to have a number of returning faces. Hanover's lineup featured no over-age defensemen last season.
