Listowel-based curler, Shawn Cottrill is playing with Team St. Denis again looking to make a return to the provincial championships.
The rink, skipped by Jon St. Denis went 3-7 at last years Ontario Men's Tankard.
"Our goal as a team is to get back to the Ontario provincial championships where we were last year," Cottrill says.
"(We) made one position change. We brought in another younger guy to play front end with me."
Cottrill also says he's been focusing on getting fit over the off-season.
The Belgrave resident practices with Team Cottrill, skipped by his wife Katie Cottrill at the Listowel Curling Club. Cottrill explains he and his teammates practice apart because they live in different parts of the province.
The team's first event is an Ontario Curling event in Kitchener-Waterloo September 24th to 27th.
Cottrill says they are playing in seven events before Christmas, giving them lots of ice time.
