AHL Suspends MacDermid For 12 Games

Sauble Beach native, and former Owen Sound Attack and Erie Otter, Kurtis MacDermid has been suspended for 12 games by the AHL.

MacDermid is a defeneceman with the Ontario Reign. His 12 game suspension is a result of a match penalty for an illegal check to the head during a game on Dec. 26 in San Diego.

MacDermid has appeared in 24 games for the Reign this season and has 5 points and 66 penalty minutes.

MacDermid will bee eligible to return to the lineup on Jan. 23.
