The Exeter Hawks are hosting a free skate with the team.
The Hawks will welcome local skaters to join them for free on the ice on Sunday, November 13th from 1 until 2 pm. The free skate is in partnership with the Optimist Club, and will be followed by a 2:30 game between the Hawks and Port Stanley.
Kids get free admission to the game, and the South Huron Fire Department will have a fire prevention table set up from 1 until 4 pm. All the events take place at the South Huron Rec Centre.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
