Local Players GOJHL Leaders

Local players continue to make an impact in the GOJHL.

Listowel Cyclones goalie Brock Baier has a stunning .948 save percentage and a 1.57 goals against to lead all goalies in the league. His teammate Justin Hergott is right behind him with a 1.75 goals against.

The Cyclones in action this Friday at home against Kitchener, the feature game on Cherrey Buslines OHA Hockey on CKNX. The pre-game starts at 7:25pm with the opening face-off at 7:30pm.

In the only previous meeting this season, Listowel beat Kitchener 5-2.

The Dutchmen have shown some offence so far this season with Connor Cole leading the team with 39 points. But they've had trouble keeping their opponents off the scoreboard and have allowed 74 goals in 22 games.

So far Kitchener has shown to be a much better road team, sporting an 8-2 record away while the Dutchmen are 4-6-1-1 at home.

For the Cyclones, they have seven wins on home ice along with one loss and one overtime loss.

Meanwhile, Kincardine's Ethan Skinner enters Week 11 of the GOJHL season with 39 points for Elmira and that is good for fourth overall in the league's scoring race. He's just six points off the leader.
