Former Cyclone, Ranger, Shark In Spengler Cup

Drayton's Nick Spaling has been named to Hockey Canada's roster for the Spengler Cup.

Spaling, who made it to the Stanley Cup Final with San Jose last season, has spent this season with a team in the Swiss "A" league.

He is second in team scoring with Geneve Servette with 16 points in 24 games.

The Spengler Cup will be played December 26 to 31 in Davos, Switzerland.

Canada has won the tournament 13 times including last season which gives the team a chance to repeat for the first time since 2002-2003.
