Blyth Goaltender Goes To Dallas

Blyth native Justin Peters is headed to Dallas.

The Stars picked up the goaltender in a trade with the Arizona Coyotes Wednesday.

The deal also sees defenceman Justin Hache head to Dallas, while forwards Brendan Ranford and Branden Troock join the Coyotes.

Peters, 30, joins a struggling team who sit eighth in the Western Conference. Goaltending has been in question at times this season.

Peters has spent time with the Coyotes and the AHL’s Tuscon Roadrunners this season but did play in three games for the Coyotes with an 0-1-0 record.

Peters has also played for Carolina and Washington.
