Power play difference in game in Listowel

The Listowel Cyclones kept pace with London even strength but the Nationals had the edge on the power play.

3-2 was the final.

London opened the scoring in the second period when Christian Polillo tipped in a slap pass on a 5-on-3. Earlier, Listowel had a goal called back because of goalie interference.

Then London scored twice in a one minute burst late in the third.

The Cyclones had chances on the power play as well, including a 5-on-3, but were 1-for-6 on the night.

Trent Verbeek and Jonah White were the Cyclones' goal scorers.

London has a 2-0 series lead in the series with Game 3 in London on Sunday at 7PM.
