Port Elgin native Kevin Czuczman re-signs with NHL Pittsburgh

A local hockey player has re-signed with his NHL team.

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced today they have re-signed Port Elgin native Kevin Czuczman to a two-way contract valued at $700,000 in the NHL. Czuczman has been in the Penguins system for 2 seasons and played his last two years with Pittsburgh's AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, amassing 56 points in 136 games.

Czuczman played previously in the New York Islanders minor league system after playing 1 year in the OJHL and 3 years at Lake Superior State in the NCAA.
