Cyclones unveil captain for 2019-20 season

The Listowel Cyclones have announced their captain for next season.

The Cycs announced last night they would be welcoming back defender Brenden Clayton for a 4th season, and that Clayton will be serving as captain for the upcoming campaign.

Clayton has been with the team for both recent Cherrey Cup titles as well as the Sutherland Cup title in 2018.

Last season Clayton was the team’s number one defender and anchored the penalty kill, consistently playing top minutes against the GOJHL’s best players.

Clayton, a native of Hanover, has played 137 games amassing 30 points.
