Clinton Minor Baseball got a boost from Clinton Raceway and a former Toronto Blue Jay.
The Mustangs minor ball group held a fundraiser during the Kin Pace this past Sunday and raised $12,000 through the trackside BBQ, 50/50, and other events. The day also featured former Blue Jay Jason Grilli, who is in the area for a minor baseball camp which is hosting 155 young ball players.
The fundraiser will will help cover coaching clinics, pay for equipment and keep registration costs down for Clinton Minor Baseball.
The 2019 live season continues at Clinton Raceway this Sunday, hosting BCH Minor Hockey as the track side fundraiser with a post time of 1:30pm.
