The Chatsworth West Grey Dodgers are just a win away from making it to the gold medal final at the U14 Canadian Fast Pitch Championships in Saskatoon.
The Dodgers beat Napanee 7-1 in their first playoff game Tuesday.
Dakota McComb pitched 3 2/3 innings striking out six batters. Joseph Weiler then pitched the final 3 innings to close out the game.
With the game tied at one going into the bottom of the fifth, the Dodgers exploded for five runs to take a commanding lead.
Offensively in the game Joseph Weiler had a double and two singles, Dakota MCComb had a triple and a single, Austin Farlow hit a single to bring home 2 runs and Carley Becker also had two RBI’s.
The next game is Wednesday morning at 11 ET against an opponent yet to be determined.
