While the Owen Sound Attack prepares to take on the Colts in Barrie Thursday night, the team has been labelled as the sixth best CHL team in the country.
The latest CHL rankings released this week were selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
The Owen Sound Attack climbed up two spots thanks to a five game win streak and lead the Midwest Division in the OHL. But Erie and Kitchener are hot in Owen Sound's heels, just a point back.
Scouts also point to the multiple contributions being made by players on Owen Sound's roster, including Aidan Dudas, Sergey Popov, Barret Kirwin and rookie Ethan Burroughs.
Defenceman Brady Lyle has been on a streak too with 2 G and 10 A in 10 games.
