PJHL announces delay to league's Return to Play protocol due to COVID-19 lockdown

The Provincial Junior Hockey League Jr. C circuit has followed the GOJHL in delaying its Return to Play plan due to the latest COVID-19 lockdown.

In a release on December 29th, PJHL Commissioner Terry Whiteside says that the province wide lockdown that began on Boxing Day has forced the largest junior hockey league in the world to once again delay the start of their season. Much like the Jr. B loop, the PJHL has not outright cancelled their 2020-21 season yet, and says their tentative start date of February 1st is now no longer viable.

The PJHL boasts 63 member clubs, and stretches all across the southern part of Ontario.
