Bruce Power joins forces with Toronto Sceptres to support women’s hockey

Bruce Power has become an Official Partner of the Toronto Sceptres in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), backing the team for the current and next season.

The partnership includes Bruce Power’s presence at Sceptres games and on television broadcasts. It also aims to inspire young athletes, with local youth hockey teams meeting a PWHL player at the Caitlyn Cobean International Silver Stick Girls C Final in Port Elgin on December 14.

Bruce Power COO James Scongack highlighted the importance of hockey in the region, saying the partnership promotes women’s representation in sports. "Hockey is a big part of our community fabric here in the Clean Energy Frontier Region of Huron, Bruce and Grey Counties and we’re thrilled to be joining forces with the Toronto Sceptres to promote women’s hockey and to show young girls that they’re represented in the professional ranks by these amazing athletes," he said.
