City Gets Money For Huron Church Rehabilitation

The City of Windsor is getting $3-million for the reconstruction of Huron Church Rd.

The funding comes from the province's Connecting Links program to improve municipal roads that connect two ends of a provincial highway through a community or to a border crossing.

The reconstruction project will go from Dorchester Rd. to Malden Rd.

The city is receiving the maximum amount of funding from the province. The program covers 90% of eligible project costs up to $3-million including design, construction renewal, and rehabilitation costs.
