British rock band Bush to take Caesars Windsor stage

A British rock quartet whose career has spanned four decades on both sides of the Atlantic will play Caesars Windsor near the end of the summer.

Bush, which hit the music scene with the back-to-back hit albums Sixteen Stone and Razorblade Suitcase, will take the Colosseum stage on September 14.

The band formed in London, England in 1992, and almost immediately made an impact on hard rock, selling 20 million albums and having their music streamed one billion times. The group had 23 consecutive Top-40 singles on the Billboard Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts. Among those that went to number one are "Comedown", "Glycerine", "Swallowed", and "The Chemicals Between Us".

Bush won the 1996 Viewer's Choice Award at the MTV Video Music Awards for its "Glycerine" music video, and the 1997 MTV Movie Award for Best Song from a Movie for "Machinehead". The quartet also won the 1998 American Music Award for Favourite Alternative Group and was nominated for a 1998 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.

The band split up in 2002 but reunited in 2010.
