Vice unit officers were involved in a drug investigation on North Russell St. just after 10pm Wednesday, when they spotted an individual known to them.
Police learned the man was out on bail and there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest related to a theft charge.
Officers allegedly found 21 g of methamphetamine worth $2,500 and close to $1,800 cash on the suspect.
He was being held pending a bail hearing.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
