The province says they've received several calls from municipalities urging them to lower default speed limits in urban areas, but Sarnia's mayor says thats not the case here.
The change would lower the default speed limit from 50km/h to 40km/h within city limits.
Mike Bradley says there are much larger issues at hand.

The Ministry of Transportation is seeking stakeholder opinion on the potential speed limit change.
