Sarnia council has approved a new five year agreement with the Sarnia and District Humane Society which will see a slight increase in funding for pound services next year.
The previous agreement had been in place since 2005.
Planning director Jane Cooper told council the SPCA says costs associated with running the service have increased substantially the past decade.
