Petrolia native Mark Hunter along with Kyle Dubas will fill the Toronto Maple Leafs GM role on an interim basis following a major shakeup in the organization yesterday.
President Brendan Shanahan fired General Manager Dave Nonis and interim head coach Peter Horachek , as well as assistant coaches Steve Spott and Chris Dennis, goaltending coach Rick St. Croix and the bulk of the scouting department including director of pro scouting Steve Kaspar and director of player development Jim Hughes.
This after the end of one of the worst seasons in franchise history.
