City police have confirmed they're investigating a death in a home at Russell St. and Cobden St. in central Sarnia.
A brief news release from the police service Thursday afternoon says the Criminal Investigation Branch is assisting the coroner in the investigation.
Police say a deceased person was located in a house in the 100-block of Russell St. Wednesday afternoon.
They are not saying, at this time, if the person is male or female or whether foul play is suspected.
The house at the southeast corner of the intersection was still cordoned off with yellow police tape on Thursday.
