A rally protesting the new sex-ed curriculum in Ontario will take place in Sarnia this afternoon.
The new curriculum, which provides education about sharing explicit content online, sexual orientation and gender identity, will be introduced in September.
Rally organizer John McEachran says parents are frustrated and feel ignored by the province and calls it an assault on parental rights.
Ontario's curriculum had not been renewed since 1998, making it the oldest in Canada.
Today's rally takes place at 1pm at the Sarnia Board of Education Office on Wellington St.
