With June upon us, Lambton Public Health has started water quality sampling at area beaches for another summer season.
Lambton Public Health has placed warning signs at Bright's Grove, Canatara, Ipperwash, the Pinery, Highland Glen, and Grand Bend south beach warning of high levels of E. Coli bacteria.
While no sampling occurs on the St. Clair River, a caution sign advising of high bacteria levels after heavy rainfall has been permanently placed at Seager, Branton Cundick, and Brander parks.
The agency says just a few warning signs went up last summer.
