Kevin Marriott says about 50 mm (2 in) of rain the last weekend of May, 15 mm last night and over 25 mm (1 in) this morning is welcome indeed. Marriott says the wheat crop, decimated by a wet fall, is doing better although the acreage is down. Environment Canada is forecasting a 60 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms through Wednesday.
