Weapons Charges In Stoney Point Dispute

A 61-year-old man is facing weapons-related charges in connection with an altercation last Friday afternoon at Stoney Point First Nation.

Lambton OPP were called to an address on Army Camp Road around 1:45pm July 3 to assist with an ongoing dispute.

Police say a man was arrested at the time and a pellet rifle seized.

Perry Neil George of Stoney Point First Nation is charged with careless use of a prohibited weapon, pointing a firearm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He's scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on August 24, 2015.
