The County of Lambton is doing away with paper job applications and has moved to a web-based platform as of this week.
Corporate Services GM David Cribbs says going through paper applications can be very time consuming. Sometimes the county has to go through hundreds of resumes.
He says having software to help sift through the resumes will save time and help move along the process.
Cribbs says they'll still accept paper resumes from those who have accessibility issues.
He says anyone without a computer at home can visit one of the county libraries where they can access the platform.
Those wishing to apply for a job with the county can do so at lambtononline.ca or by visiting their Facebook page.
