The Lambton OPP says a large quantity of suspected cannabis marijuana was seized after a man riding a scooter was stopped on Nauvoo Rd. in Brooke-Alvinston last night.
Police say they suspected the driver had been consuming alcohol.
After complying with a demand for a roadside breath test, police allege marijuana was found in the man's possession that weighed in at 466.5 g (about a lb).
A 24-year-old man from St. Clair Township is charged with possession of marijuana, over 30 g.
He was also issued a three day driver's licence suspension and is to appear in Sarnia court September 9.
