Lapaine To Become Bluewater Health CEO

Bluewater Health has announced that Mike Lapaine is being promoted to the top position of President and CEO effective January 1, 2016. Lapaine, who came to Bluewater Health in 2008 from the Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance, will take over for Sue Denomy. It was announced last week that Denomy is retiring at year's end after 40 years in healthcare, including the last seven as CEO. Lapaine is currently Vice-President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. He says he's happy to have the opportunity to continue his work with the board, staff, physicians, volunteers and community partners to build on Bluewater Health's legacy of excellence.
