Worker Released From Hospital After Fall

Officials say a worker from Sentry Electrical has been released from hospital after falling from an elevated height inside a turbine shaft on Ravenswood Line in north Lambton.

The worker sustained undisclosed injuries in the fall at Suncor's Cedar Point Wind Power Project July 21.

Labour Ministry spokesman William Lin says Constructor Amec Foster Wheeler has complied with six requirements but says there's still one order in place.

A spokesperson for Amec Foster Wheeler says the heat stress order isn't directly related to the fall.

Lin says a stop work order issued to Amec Foster Wheeler, Borea Construction and Sentry Electrical has been lifted.

Other requirements including a ban on climbing ladders, and obtaining proper documentation have been complied with.
