Spectators are welcome to attend free of charge to see some of the river's big bass being weighed and released. About 60 teams are expected to participate in the event. It gets underway at 7am, with weigh-in at 3:30pm.
The open house is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and residents are invited to stop by and enjoy special exhibits showcasing timeless moments in its history.
The event promises an "outstanding lineup of butter tart bakers and sweet makers from across Southwestern Ontario and beyond."
