Lambton-Kent District School Board Director Jim Costello says their numbers are down about 300 students, and the bulk of the decline is in the secondary level.
Costello says they have put in $10-million worth of capital work in schools over the summer, including a $2-million makeover at Wallaceburg District Secondary School with track and field facility improvements, a new fitness centre and major improvements to the library.
