The Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre could have a new name by May of next year.
If city councillors give authorization at Monday's meeting, the expression of interest process would begin in November.
Mayor Mike Bradley says they would like the name in place before the start of the 2016-2017 hockey season.

He says the advertising opportunities are huge for businesses.

Potential partners could come from large commercial or industrial businesses, utilities, financial services, media/telecommunication businesses or foundations.
