The Inn of the Good Shepherd is hoping to collect 35,000 to 40,000 pounds of food.
It's the annual Thanksgiving Fall Food Drive.
Executive Director Myles Vanni says they're in great need of cereal, pasta sauce, canned fruit, school snack items and hygiene products.
He says there has been an increased in need locally, so donations are vital
Brown paper donation bags went out in the mail last week.
Donations can be made at most area grocery stores, fire halls, The Good Shepherd's Lodge on Confederation St. and The Inn of the Good Shepherd on John St.
