Sarnia-Lambton Conservative MPP Bob Bailey is defending his decision to vote against the "Great Lakes Protection Act".
The bill, introduced by the Ontario Liberals last week, is aimed at preserving the health of the water and environment.
Bailey cites numerous reasons for not supporting it.

Bailey says the bill wouldn't guarantee that no industrial wind turbines would be built on the lakes. He says the legislation would also allow authorities to access private property without a warrant.
Bailey says if the bill makes it to committee, his party will be pushing for amendments.
